Hey Everybody!
The Court trial against us because of our logo has been DROPPED by the goverment and we do not have to pay the moneyfine of 3.300 euros in the end.
The reason why they dropped it is as simple as it is stupid:
"- they found out that they can't set a time the "crime" has been commited"
we're happy about this situation and the taxpayers in germany will go to work for another couple of days paying taxes towards useless cases like this...
A big THANK YOU to everybody who supported us during that hard frustrating time.
It means so much to us that we can't explain it in Words.
No matter if you wrote about it in your zine, on your page, or just spread the word about that injustice! If you sent us a supportive mail, called us, visited our benefit show, or even have supported us during the court case itsself. Thanx to every Band and promotor who has offered to do benefits for us. luckily we didn't have to ask for that in the end.

Thanx to everybody who supported SS-kaliert at the court case & especially at the gig in the evening. Thanx to all our Lawyers, to the PESTPOCKEN & LIESEL of VERSAUTE STIEFKINDER for the benefit gig. Thanx to the AK47 in Düsseldorf for letting us put on the benefit gig.
F*** the Judge for sewing us down and wanting us to pay that money fine. We will not Accept that punishment and will take this case to a next round!

we got a letter from court yesterday that invited us to a court trial for november 6th at 9o'clock in Duisburg Amtsgericht. its a friday, so a great opportunity for ACTION, maby we will organise a festival in the area on the day so that the court, judge & Police will notice that Punx NOT fuckin' dead and that there is some resistance against this injustice! if you wanna know why we got sewed etc, please read our latest blogs. more info as soon as we get it...

Super, wir haben gestern den Brief vom Duisburger Amtsgericht bekommen das die Verhandlung wegen unserm Namen nun am 6. November um 9Uhr im Amtsgericht Duisburg (Stadtmitte) stattfinden wird. Das ist ein Freitag welches ein super datum für ein paar aktionen wäre. Wir gucken mal ob wir an dem Wochenende ein Festival irgendwo in der Nähe veranstalten können, so das Gericht, Staatsanwaltschaft & Bullen sehen das wir uns diese ungerechtigkeit nicht gefallen lassen wollen & das da noch mehr als nur wir 5 hinterstehen!!!
Falls jemand nicht wei? warum wir angeklagt wurden, der/die lese mal unseren letzten Blog, mehr infos zu allem sobald wir diese bekommen...

"I'D RATHER BELIEVE IN THE VIRGINITY OF A

JUSTICE OF GERMAN LAWS!!"

We couldn't have expressed it better than German Punk-heroes Slime in their
song "Gerechtigkeit" (Justice) about the following happening:
German Prosecutor sued Punkband SS-KALIERT due to the use of their logo. He
claims the band to use the lightning-bolds of the Nazi SS in World War 2.
This is punishable with up to 3 years in jail for the band members by German
Law. Such nonsense is only possible in Germany; no other country in the world
would sue somebody for using letters of a font you can download legally on the
internet
(http://www.urbanfonts.com/fonts/Incantation.htm)
that obviously doesn't even match with the Nazi SS symbol. What about one of
the biggest German banks- the "SparkaSSe"? Or people with the initials
of S.S, like Simon Schuster for example? Would they get sued for using their
initials? What about a Graf-ADOLF-Street that you can find in almost every
bigger German City, why won't they be renamed? Complete Nonsense!!! SS-KALIERT
is and has always been strictly anti-fascist, anti-racist and anti-nationalist.
The Band uses logos such as "Good Night White Pride" or crossed out
Swastikas on their websites and on their releases, clear statements in their
lyrics and in every interview they give, they have been invited to play Israel
in September 09 and hard to believe but also true- even SS-KALIERT??S Japanese
guitar player A.G is sued for using a "Nazi" symbol. Up until the
court date SS-KALIERT will not give in and keep both logo and name as they are.
We will see what happens after that. The band will be thankful for every kind
of support, even if its just a short note in a fanzine/webzine, a short
report on a radio station about this case or whatever.
Please spread the word and make that injustice happening in Germany public and
help the band to avoid getting punished for NOTHING! Get in touch with the band
